The Lexington Human Services Department provides a variety of services for the senior community, including consultation and assistance, emergency financial assistance, referral and short term case management and counselling services related to life changes as we age.

There are two programs. The Senior Service’s nutrition program, in collaboration with Minuteman Senior Services, offers lunch Monday, Wednesday and Friday for a suggested donation. For individuals who have difficulty shopping and cooking on their own, Meals on Wheels are home delivered daily by volunteers . https://www.minutemansenior.org/our-services/senior-nutrition/meals-on-wheels . The Senior Center Lex Café serves communal meals at noon on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, but not during COVID. Reservations are required (781-325-1613, at least 24 hours in advance).
